Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how WeRedd Pte. Ltd., trading as Kernia (“Kernia”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit kernia.ai (the “Website”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes more fully how we handle personal data.

We are a Singapore company registered under UEN 202535734G, with our registered address at 37 Sultan Gate, Singapore 198485.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They allow the site to recognise your device on subsequent visits, remember your preferences, measure how the site is being used, and support marketing activity.

This policy also covers similar technologies that work the same way — including pixel tags, web beacons, local storage, and software development kits — even where these are not strictly “cookies”. We refer to them collectively as “cookies” throughout.

Cookies are first-party if they are set by Kernia, and third-party if they are set by another organisation whose service is embedded in our Website (for example, an analytics provider). They may be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them.

2. Our approach to consent

Strictly necessary cookies are set whenever you visit the Website, because they are required for the site to operate. All other cookies — functional, analytics, and marketing — are set only after you have given your consent through our cookie banner.

This opt-in approach applies to every visitor, regardless of location. You can accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or make category-by-category choices when you first visit the site. You can change your choices at any time through the Cookie Settings link in the Website footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser and revisiting the site, which will present the banner again.

Where you withdraw or adjust your consent, the cookies affected will stop being set going forward. Cookies that have already been placed on your device may persist until they expire or you delete them through your browser — see section 7 below.

3. Categories of cookies we use

We group cookies into four categories. The current list of individual cookies set on your device at any given time — including their names, providers, purposes, and durations — is maintained by our cookie banner and is available through the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

3.1 Strictly necessary

These cookies are essential for the Website to function. They enable core functionality such as page navigation, security, network management, load balancing, form submission, and remembering your cookie preferences. Without them, services you have asked for cannot be provided. They are set on a first-party basis by Kernia or by the underlying hosting and content-delivery infrastructure, and they do not require consent.

3.2 Functional

These cookies allow the Website to remember choices you make — for example, language preference or region — and provide enhanced, more personal features. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages, such as the tool used to book meetings with our team. Functional cookies are set only with your consent.

3.3 Analytics and performance

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Website by collecting and reporting information anonymously or under pseudonymous identifiers. We use the results to improve the site’s content, structure, and performance. We currently use:

  • Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, provided by Google LLC, to measure traffic patterns and campaign performance.
  • Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft Corporation, to capture aggregated heatmaps and, where enabled, session recordings that help us identify usability issues. Where session recording is active, the service masks sensitive information by default and is limited to interactions on public pages of the Website.

Analytics cookies are set only with your consent. Where technically available, we enable IP anonymisation and data-retention limits in the underlying services.

3.4 Marketing

These cookies are used by us and by our advertising partners to build a profile of your interests, measure the effectiveness of campaigns, and show you more relevant advertising on other sites. They also support our CRM and marketing-automation activities, including associating form submissions with prior visits. We currently use:

  • HubSpot, provided by HubSpot, Inc., for visitor identification, form handling, and meeting booking through HubSpot Meetings. HubSpot sets cookies (for example, hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, __hssrc) to identify returning visitors and attribute conversions.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag, provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, to measure conversions, build retargeting audiences, and report on LinkedIn ad campaigns.

Marketing cookies are set only with your consent.

4. Third-party content and embeds

The Website may include content hosted by third parties — for example, YouTube video embeds provided by Google LLC, and social sharing widgets for platforms such as LinkedIn — which can set their own cookies when you interact with them. These third parties control the cookies they set and process any data collected under their own privacy and cookie policies. Where such content is present, it is loaded only after you have given consent through our banner, or in a privacy-preserving mode where available.

We do not control third-party cookies. To manage them, you should review the relevant third-party policy and, where offered, use that provider’s own opt-out mechanism.

5. International transfers from cookies

Some of the providers listed above — in particular Google, Microsoft, HubSpot, and LinkedIn — are established outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Singapore, or transfer data internationally as part of delivering their services. Where such transfers involve personal data for which we are responsible, we rely on appropriate safeguards as described in section 5 of our Privacy Policy, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long cookies remain on your device

The time a cookie stays on your device depends on its type:

  • Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies remain until they reach their expiry date or you delete them. Expiry periods vary by cookie and provider, ranging from minutes to, in limited cases, up to two years.

The specific duration of each cookie currently in use is listed in our cookie banner and available through the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

7. Managing cookies through your browser

In addition to our cookie banner, most browsers let you view, manage, or delete cookies through their settings. You can usually:

  • see which cookies are stored and delete them individually or all at once;
  • block third-party cookies;
  • block cookies from specific sites; or
  • block all cookies (which will significantly break most websites, including ours).

Instructions for the major browsers are available in their documentation:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

If you use multiple devices or browsers, you will need to repeat your preferences on each of them. Clearing cookies will also clear your saved cookie-banner choices, and you will be asked to set them again on your next visit.

8. Your rights

Cookies that identify you, directly or indirectly, are treated as personal data under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the Singapore PDPA. You have the rights described in section 8 of our Privacy Policy — including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent — and they apply in the same way to cookie-related data.

You can exercise these rights at any time by contacting privacy@kernia.ai.

9. California and other US residents

If you are a resident of California, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), in addition to the rights described in our Privacy Policy. Similar rights may apply to residents of other US states with comparable privacy laws.

9.1 “Sale” and “sharing” of personal information

Under the CCPA/CPRA, the use of certain advertising and analytics cookies — including pixels such as the LinkedIn Insight Tag and, in some configurations, Google tools — may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for purposes of cross-context behavioural advertising, even where no money changes hands. We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense, but we treat these activities as “sharing” to be transparent.

9.2 Your right to opt out

You can opt out of this “sharing” at any time by:

  • rejecting Marketing cookies in our cookie banner;
  • using the Cookie Settings link in the footer to withdraw consent previously given;
  • clicking “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the footer, where available; or
  • sending a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal through a supported browser or extension — we will treat a valid GPC signal as a request to opt out for that browser and device.

9.3 Other US rights

You also have the right to request access to, correction of, and deletion of your personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use cookies to process sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger the right to limit, and we do not engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects based on Website cookies alone.

To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@kernia.ai. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under applicable US privacy law.

10. Children

The Website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly use cookies to collect information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has interacted with the Website in a way that resulted in personal data being collected, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, the tools we have deployed, or applicable law. The updated version will be indicated by a revised “Last updated” date at the top of the page and will take effect when posted. Where the changes are material, we will re-present the cookie banner so that you can review and update your preferences.
